inSEPStigator: A Rapid Noninvasive Point of Care Device for Sepsis Analysis via Biomarkers

Congratulations, to the Arizona State University (ASU) senior capstone team on presenting their project, “inSEPStigator: A Rapid Noninvasive Point of Care Device for Sepsis Analysis via Biomarkers” at the ASU Fall Symposium. Their project aims to minimize sepsis complications by providing an affordable device that will successfully quantify sepsis risk within minutes using the inSEPSIgator and saliva biomarkers. Dr. Philip Efron, M.D., FACS, FCCM, was honored to serve as a mentor on the ASU senior capstone project and looks forward to further supporting the team’s research agenda.
