We are thrilled to announce that Assistant Professor, Dr. Fan Zhang from the UF College of Pharmacy has been awarded pilot funding through the Sepsis & Critical Illness Research Center’s Biomedical Research Collective (BRC): Enhancing the Interdisciplinary Approach to Translational Scientific Inquiry- an RM1GM139690 Pilot Program.

Dr. Zhang’s innovative project, “Selective Reprogram of MDSCs through Nanomedicine-Mediated STAT3 Inhibition”holds immense promise in reshaping our understanding of MDSCs (Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells) and their role in immune regulation.
