Project Description:
With the support of artificial intelligence–based methods, Dayuan Wang is testing statistical and computational strategies to improve the detection of copy number variants. These genetic variations involve duplications or deletions of segments of DNA and can play an important role in the development and progression of diseases, including neurodevelopmental disorders and cancer.
