The Sepsis and Critical Illness Research Center is pleased to share that Quan Vo has been selected as a recipient of a 2026 Bryan W. Robinson Endowment Grant for the Neurosciences.
Quan Vo’s funded project, titled “Microglial ‘Immune Memory’ and its Consequences in Sepsis Survivors with Alzheimer’s Disease,” will investigate how prior immune activation following sepsis may contribute to long-term neurological dysfunction and neurodegenerative disease progression.
The Bryan W. Robinson Endowment Grants support innovative neuroscience research across partner institutions and recognize projects with strong potential to advance scientific understanding and improve patient outcomes. This year’s competition highlighted a broad range of impactful and collaborative neuroscience research initiatives.
This project reflects the continued commitment of the Sepsis and Critical Illness Research Center to advancing translational research focused on the long-term consequences of sepsis and critical illness, including persistent inflammation, immune dysregulation, and cognitive decline in survivors.
Congratulations to Quan Vo on this outstanding achievement and recognition.
